Getting Started

Joining AOKP is fun and easy. The first step is to contact our Seneschal, who will happily answer any questions you might have about the group, as well as send you an invitation to our next Rush.

Like many other clubs, AOKP holds Rush as a way for potential new members to get to know us, and vice versa. Shortly after Rush, you will be contacted by the Seneschal and told whether or not we have a place for you at that time. If you are unable to attend Rush, other arrangements can be made so that we can get a chance to meet you. AOKP is a “yes” society, so as long as you show interest in the group and have the time to play with us, we will gladly welcome you into our family!

Upon your acceptance into AOKP, you will join the club as a probationary member, or Page. During this time, also known as Page-Turning, you will learn all of the nuances of the game, including:

• Creating a Persona
• Boffer Combat
• Storytelling
• Knighthoods and Druinhoods
• Clans and Guilds
• The History and Geography of Warwick
• …and much more!

Once Page-Turning has come to an end, any surviving Pages* will be promoted by the Sovereign to the rank of Squire and welcomed as full members into AOKP.
